2022 UTAH BADLANDS PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

The Utah Badlands are located in South Central Utah, and this is the area that inspires my soul more than any other area I’ve been to on our planet. If you’ve been following along with the blog, this is an area that I’ve written about and mention frequently, and it’s an area I that I see myself spending large chunks of time in once I find some land and build a small residence in. It is vast, unique and wild. On this 3 and a half day workshop we will be focused primarily on photographing sunrises and sunsets, but will also visit a slot canyon mid-day. Post processing will also be included in this workshop. While it is not a requirement, I would HIGHLY recommend bringing a drone with good photo capabilities. This is an area that perhaps shoots best from the air. Also, it is an area where drones are allowed almost everywhere, and there aren’t other people around who will be bothered by them. So, if you are into drone photography or if you’ve been having the itch to put yours to good use, this is the best possible area for it. This workshop is scheduled to be hosted on what typically ends up being peak fall foliage. While that can vary from year to year, this is our best bet. I hope you join for this remote adventure to one of the most unique and lesser visited areas in Utah.
